| Carry the Mark | Next time you head to a community or school event, turn it into a Catalyst party by handing out Catalyst stickers. | Schooling the School Board | This is your chance to tell your local school board about the dangerous effects that the unhealthy food served at school is having on the students and how it directly impacts you and your friends. First, ask permission to speak in front of the school board. Then, Gather up a bunch of friends to create a presentation your school board won't forget. Tell them all about your worries of a bad diet, as well as how this is affecting the inactivity of students. Don’t forget to follow up by sending a thank you note to the board for giving you the time to present. |

If your school administration is not supportive of your idea you can conduct interviews, focus groups and online surveys without permission from the school. Of course you should still present the results to your principle or other school leaders.
